Keyance appointed MCP Ltd to undertake a due diligence building survey of the third floor Heathrow House.
The building was originally designed for a single occupier and has been extensively refurbished to provide Cat A office occupation. The building comprises of a complex structure with a central lift core separating the front and rear offices. The large ground floor area provides break out and circulation areas and the building has been partially sub-divided on a floor by floor basis.
The refurbishment of the building was specified to a high standard and whilst generally in good condition we identified areas where works will be required. The client already had space within the building and that formed part of our survey. We identified issues such as the location of comms room, coolers etc, to ensure the client was fully aware of the necessary financial outlay to adapt the office for their use.
The lease was successfully completed, and the client is now preparing to undertake the fit-out works.
